Aromatherapy and Reflexology in Residential Care
I work in a number of private and NHS residential care units for older people, people with sensory impairment, and people experiencing some difficulties in their day to day lives.
The therapies can
- Improve a persons sense of well being via the one to one focused contact during the session and the physical therapy itself.
- Improve a person’s ability for Psychological contact.
- Aid relaxation, reduce stress and anxiety, and improve a person's sense of grounding.
A session may involve talking as well as the physical therapy itself.
I work on a sessional basis so would see a number of people. I charge a minimum sessional rate of £40.00 at a rate of £25.00 an hour. Individual sessions will vary in length depending on a person's need.
